Caglar is a renowned Turkish lawyer and consultant with over 20 years of professional experience across various legal fields, including commercial transactions, corporate law, enforcement, and litigation.

Before founding her own business in the UK, she served as a partner at ASC Law, a prestigious Istanbul-based law firm providing world-class services to a diverse array of prominent financial institutions, corporations, and other enterprises. At ASC, she led the firm’s Debt Collection & Enforcement Team, which included over 100 licensed lawyers, legal interns, and other professionals.

With around 15 years of experience as in-house counsel, she navigated a wide range of legal issues, including ensuring compliance with company-specific internal controls. Caglar was also deeply involved in various disputes, either directly or by managing in-house and outsourced counsels who were actively working on the cases. This extensive experience in both law and management has been crucial to her successful career.

After shifting her focus from the Political Science and Public Administration department at Middle East Technical University, she graduated from Istanbul University School of Law in 1999 and pursued her master's (LLM) at Istanbul Bilgi University, specializing in Business Law. During her studies, she focused on commercial law and the law of obligations, along with closely related legal fields such as competition law and the evolving laws of the internet.

Caglar is a registered lawyer (Avukat) of the Istanbul Bar Association (#28314) and a Registered Foreign Lawyer (RFL) of the Solicitors Regulation Authority (#7002861). As an RFL, she is authorized to practice Turkish law and provide legal consultancy on English and Welsh law through MHD Consulting Ltd.
